3 Minute Fudge

On the weekend I made 3 minute fudge here is the recipe for this delicious recipe.
Ingredients: 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Method: 1. Butter a square pan and line with parchment paper for easy removal of set fudge. Set aside. 2. In a microwave safe bowl, heat chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, on high for 1 minute. Remove from microwave. Let it sit for 1 minute, then stir to combine. If needed, heat an additional 30 seconds. Stir until chips are completely melted and chocolate is smooth. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour fudge into prepared pan let fudge cool completely before cutting into squares. Place in the fridge for 1-2 hours. When cool store in an airtight container. Fudge does not need to be kept in the fridge. Now you have made 3 minute fudge enjoy.

Chocolate Cake

On the weekend I made an amazing chocolate cake. Now I don't mean any chocolate cake I mean a layer chocolate cake. With buttercream icing in the layers. But only in my layer cake I have two layers double the yum. Not all my taste testers loved it but most of them did though. Some of the comments they said are "Nice and rich" and "One of the best things ever". I gave a piece of this wonderful cake to my mentor. She said it was really good.

The Swiss Roll

On the weekend I made a fabulous swiss roll I know it doesn't look the nicest but the taste is delicious on the inside. I made this with butter cream icing in the middle (By the way butter cream icing is not the easiest thing to make in the world but it tasted good afterwards so that was what that mattered the most) so that took up about half the time. The roll was going to be white but then I decided to add some coco powder in there that made it the colour of chocolate. Last but definitely not least is my special touch of marshmallows all together it tasted really good. By the way always follow the recipe.

Second Mentor Meeting

A couple of days ago I had my second mentor meeting and I think it went really well because she a lot of good things to say about what I am doing. I have a few steps I want to get done in the next couple of weeks. Like to do more cooking, Writing a list for my mum to take to the shops with the ingredients I need to make whatever I am making. I want to try to do lots of different recipes so if you have an idea for me I will try and make it if you tell me what the recipe is.

My Book

It's all coming together now I have just found a place which makes books that you design online so if you are looking for a book making company copy the link at the bottom of this post in to your search bar in a new tab. I have decided to put lemon meringue pie in my book as well as some other ones that I have not decided on yet. I think I am on the right path to a successful Passion Project. Thank you to everyone who is reading my blog and commenting on it.

My Mentor Meeting

A couple of weeks ago I had my first mentor meeting which I am really happy about because I needed to talk about everything that I have been doing. I took some of my library books to show her some of the things I would be making. She liked the ones I was thinking of making which is a good sign to me. I shared my blog and I told her that I was keeping it up to date. She also said that I was on the right track and how well I was doing.

Meringues

On the weekend after I spoke to my expert I made some meringues. It takes a lot of whisking to make the meringues which is what I didn't think about before I made them. So half way through the whisking I had second thoughts on whether I would like to make this. But when the whisking was over I had a long break with my hand was happy. When the meringues were cooked some of them feel apart but the ones that stayed together tasted great. Luckily there were not that many dishes.
